Newborn Photos Ripon CA

Are you a new mom considering having newborn photos taken?

If so, consider this; you’ve made it through the joy and agony of your first pregnancy. You’ve had time to bond with your newborn and begin to transition from “couple” to “family”. You are thinking about hiring a professional to create beautiful newborn photos. And like most new moms, you’re headed back to work soon. So many emotions are likely to surface. The little cracks in your heart as you leave your baby with someone else for the day. It doesn’t matter if it’s a daycare, a nanny or your own mother; it’s not you.

Juggling life after baby is no small feat. The demands of your job aren’t likely to change. There are feedings and changing’s, and all the daily chores that somehow still need to get accomplished. It can be overwhelming to say the least. That’s why I’m begging you to let go of perfection.

As moms, we feel this innate need to handle EVERYTHING. We take care of our children, our spouses, our parents, our friends, our co-workers. It’s commendable, but exhausting. Your beautiful little newborn won’t be perfect, and neither will you. So let it go now, for your health and well-being. Control the things you can (your love for your child) and don’t beat yourself up over the things that are out of your control (sleep schedules, staff meetings, car repairs etc.).

And if you want just a moment of sheer bliss; look back at those first few pictures of you and your newborn. Those tiny little fingers and toes on that precious little person you created and just soak it all in.  Take one day at a time and enjoy the little moments.

Here's what a lovely wall portrait would look like in your baby's nursery.
